Questions

The things people ask at the counter, answered before you drive over. If it isn't here, call us — we would rather tell you straight than have you guess.

Do I need to book ahead?
For a batting cage or a simulator bay, yes — reserve online or call, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening when the bays go first. The arcade and the kitchen are walk-in, always.
What do I need to bring?
You are encouraged to bring your own helmet and bat. We have some available if you need them. Indoor athletic shoes are required on the turf. For the golf or multi-sport bay, bring your own clubs if you have them, or rent a set for $10 a session.
Can beginners come, or is this for team players?
Both. The pitching machines adjust to various speeds, and plenty of people come in with no gear and no team. Kids, adults, first-timers and travel-ball players all use the same room.
What is the difference between Ballistic and Tater balls?
They are two different training balls, and you pick which one the machine feeds. Tell us at the counter which you want to hit — or ask and we will explain the difference in about ten seconds.
How many people can hit in one cage?
Up to two batters on a 100-ball session, up to three on 150 balls, and up to four on the one-hour rental. The hour rental has unlimited balls, so it is the best value for a group.
Do you have softball too, or just baseball?
Both. The Hack Attack pitching machines throw various speeds for baseball and for fastpitch (softball).
Can left-handed golfers use the simulators?
Yes, and this is the part we are proud of — right- and left-handed players hit in the same bay without moving any hardware. A mixed group just rotates through.
Is there real food, or just snacks?
A real kitchen. Burgers, Philly steaks, wings, tenders, nachos and hot dogs, plus eight beers on tap with a heavy Vermont lean — Fiddlehead, Long Trail, Zero Gravity and BBCO.
Do you take cards?
Yes. Posted prices are cash prices before tax, and a 3.5% service fee is added to credit card purchases. When you book online, the booking summary shows the 6% Vermont sales tax and the card fee on their own lines, so the total you see is the total you hand over.
When are you open?
Every day but Monday. Tuesday through Friday 4 PM to 8 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 8 PM. Need a time outside these hours? Call a day ahead and we will see what we can do.
Can I book the place for a team, a party or a company event?
Yes. Birthday packages are published: All-Star Party $175 and MVP Party $250, each with a reserved table for two hours. Custom team nights and company outings we still quote directly — tell us what you need.
What does the multi-sport bay cost?
The same as the golf simulator: 30 minutes $35, 60 minutes $60, 90 minutes $90, 2 hours $120, 2.5 hours $150, 3 hours $180. Reserve online or call if you want a hand picking a length.
Do the session packages expire?
We have not set an expiry policy yet. Ask when you buy one and we will tell you where it stands — call 802-424-1123.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Call 802-424-1123 as early as you can and we will work it out. We are a new building and still settling our cancellation policy.

Still not sure? Just call.

2000 Memorial Drive, St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Open every day but Monday.
